The club is delighted to confirm that Michael Porter will continue as captain of the Bashley 1st XI.
At the conclusion of the 2025 season, Michael made the decision to step down as first‑team captain.
Since then, he has been spending time in Australia, both playing and enjoying a well‑earned break. During this period, he has remained in close contact with the club as discussions continued regarding a potential successor. After taking time to reflect, he has decided that he wishes to continue in the role.
The club is thrilled to welcome him back at the helm as we look forward to an exciting season ahead.
