It is with a heavy heart that we have to say that Brian Pardey recently passed away. He was an important and loyal member of the club, having been involved from the early years of the club’s formation. Firstly as a player and then a well respected League Umpire. During this period he was Chairman for many years and after standing down continued his support of the club by working tirelessly on the ground, creating one of the best outfields in the league. His legacy continues with his son and two grandchildren playing for his beloved club. He will be missed.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday 1st September but unfortunately in current times numbers are very limited to close family only. If you would like to pay your respects to Brian, the funeral cortege will stop briefly at the club between 11.45 and 12.00, and we are hoping to have a link to the service showing in the bar at around 1pm.

The details for the live streaming of Brian’s funeral service are as follows.
