Batting first, Bashley worked their way to 216/6 from 54 overs. Batting first, Basingstoke were anchored by an outstanding innings from Dan Coombs, who compiled 101 from 109 balls, striking 13 boundaries and holding the innings together. Laurence Benge (38) and Vikram Singh (27) added useful support, while a late surge from Dan Weir (29)* and Jake Fincken (25)* pushed the total to 265.
