Bashley were put into bat on an overcast day at the BCG
Opening Pair Paul Kemp (25) and Matt Wedge wasted no time getting the score board moving and reached 50, before P Kemp fell LBW. Captain L Stubbington then joined Wedge and with some good running and some decent shot play took the score onto 185. Before L Stubbington tried to clear the infield and fell for 73. M Wedge was joined by J Lilley (27) and the pair upped the run rate. M Wedge completing a fantastic hundred before feathering one behind to fall for (111) in what was a fantastic knock. J Lilley was caught on the boundary late on and Bashley’s innings closed on 260-4

Bashleys opening pair bowled superbly. with D Morris (10 overs 1 – 17) keeping things tight and causing the batsman trouble and Tom Harris (7 overs 3 – 9) bowled superbly to have have Ferndown in trouble at 4-26. The young pair of J Edmunds (3-20) and S Presland (3-10) then quickly got through the Ferndown batsman to bowl Ferndown out for 72 and complete a 188 run victory for Bashley.
