Bashley arrived at the BCG in high spirits after beating 2nd in the league Winton last week. On an overcast day Bashley won the toss and elected to field first.

Dave Morris (1-22) started off with 5 straight maidens and also claiming the wicket of Neve for 0. The other opener Baker started off nicely and made a impressive 50 before Tom Hayward Cox made him depart. Presland (2-54) and Hayward Cox (1-44)  bowled tightly in the middle overs before RWE Paul came on and claimed a few wickets (2-57). Pinch hitting at the end from Chubb and Deem left Parley well placed on 238.

Bashley started there innings with a few boundaries however Neary (4-21) ripped through Bashley’s top order. Kemp (44) put up some fight however no one really stuck with him. Bashley eventually ended well short 147 all out due to good bowling also from Hopkins (4-41)
