Bashley (Rydal) Cricket Club Newsletter November 2010

GROUND DEVELOPMENTS

1. We are commencing refurbishment of the clubhouse. Planning Permission has now been sought to replace the existing balcony. It is planned to extend this further out and to enclose the space below onto the patio. This will allow us much more space for internal refurbishment of the clubhouse. Plans/drawings will be available to view in the Clubhouse on Friday 26th November from 7pm.

2. We are replacing the artificial wicket on the back pitch as this has become worn and dangerous.

3. We are installing two new entrance signs at the front of the ground.

  KIT ITEMS FOR SALE AT £5 PER ITEM FRIDAY 26th NOVEMBER from 7pm

We have an extensive selection of kit for sale mostly at £5 an item. This includes
Rain Jackets Training Shirts Polo Shirts (White and Blue)
Cricket Shirts Cricket Jumpers T Shirts
Caps Shorts Track Suits (Tops and Bottoms)
Kit will be available for sale in the clubhouse from 7pm on Friday 26th November.

 Indoor Cricket League Umpire Required.

Bashley have entered one team this season in the six a side New Forest Indoor League.
We are aiming to defend the first division championship which we won last year.
Matches are on Sundays afternoons/early evening of one hour (12 overs a side) duration at Lymington Recreation Centre. Next Fixtures are:
1 Sunday 7th November Pylewell Park
2. Sunday 5th December Ordnance Survey
3. Sunday 12th December Bransgore
We urgently require an umpire for these games. If interested in umpiring or playing please contact Neil Taylor on 07802 798477.

This has been arranged for Saturday 18th December at Bashley Park.

3. PAVILLION LOTTERY DRAW.
 The next draws will take place on
(a) Friday 26th November at 8pm at the Clubhouse.
(b) Saturday 18th December at the Annual Dinner/Presentation Evening at Bashley Park where the first prize will be a bumper £1000.

4. KIT SALES AND CLUBHOUSE BALCONY PLANS DISPLAY
Friday 26th November from 7.00pm in the Clubhouse

5. AGM
 This will take place at the clubhouse on Friday 3rd December at 7.30pm.
It is important that as many members as possible should attend
