Neil Taylor going big before going home

Bashley’s opening bowlers, Jack Griffiths and Kristian Laurent, both bowled a steady opening spell, with Griffiths taking the wicket of Peter Bennet in the 9th over. Sway’s youngster Toby Reid provided stubborn resistance, seeing off the Bashley opening bowlers, before eventually being dismissed by the young Tom Manning in the 17th over. Niall Gallagher retired after hitting a quick fire 52 off 41 balls, taking the attack to Jack Allan. Allan responded strongly by taking the wicket of William Baughan (27), with Neil Taylor and Kristian Laurent both taking a wicket each to leave Sway with 132-5 from their 40 overs.

Many thanks to Sway for providing a team at short notice.
