Junior Training …..Course 1 in review

It’s hard to believe that we’re almost through course one already…..as we head through week 4, let’s look back on the last few weeks.

4 age groups, from “Mini’s” through to “Youth”. In addition to the obvious batting, bowling and fielding skills, we’re also focussing on communication and team-work. We’ve seen activities developing reaction, concentration and tactics, as well as video analysis and speed cameras! ‘Noughts and Crosses’ and ‘Cricket Tennis’…..who knew ?

Coach Wilson brings his wealth of experience and huge variety of activities to each of his sessions, and is supported by our superb and dedicated coaches and junior managers.

We are also delighted that we have 4 of our older teenagers assisting regularly with the U9s session. All are regular players in the senior teams, in the U19 squad, and have came through Bashley Rydal CC from the junior section, 3 right through from U9s themselves.

The  enthusiam of the youngsters is infectious and we hope that we can continue to build on this, that word will spread……and that we can encourage a love of cricket.

Course 2 for all age groups will start after the Half Term break. For information and booking forms please follow the link….
