The rain of Thursday was blown away for the 22nd running of our annual golf day last Friday. The Barton on Sea course was amazingly dry, and a real challenge, in the blustery conditions. It was a close run affair, with the best of the 21 teams, being Ellingham CC with a total score of 127 points for the 27 holes condition. One point behind were the Nowhere Men and a point further back the Mud Balls (Phil Morris, Paul Conway, Luke Stubbington and Jason Eede) beating a combined Hythe & Dibden CC and Bashley (Rydal) team on countback (the Chairman and Terry Rice carrying the flag for club).
The winners are seen receiving their prizes from Sean Willson of Everton Garage.
