Bashley (Rydal) II  206 for 7

Fawley  77 all out

The Turner twins opened the batting for Bashley at Fawley and added 23 before in-form Alex was dismissed for 11. Chris Vaughan joined James Turner and advanced the total to 70 before being bowled by the wily Wayne Smith for 32. Captain Pat Lewis then helped bring up the hundred before Turner was dismissed for a hard fought 32. Three more quick wickets feel to Munir (3 for 27) and Smith ( 2 for 27) including Lewis who made a stylish 44. Sam Stroud and Neil Taylor (13 no) set about ensuring Bashley batted out the full 50 overs with Stroud cutting loose in the final few overs to club a couple of massive sixes in his unbeaten 40.

Stroud and Sean Read , who form what must be the best opening attack in the league, quickly reduced the home side to 32 for 5 with a sustained spell of hostile and accurate pace bowling with Stroud taking 3 for 18. Change bowlers Simon Morris (2 for 12) and the pacey Mitchell Wilson (2 for 15) ripped out the late order before Read ( 3 for 15) returned to take the last wicket as Fawley were bowled out for just 77 in 27.3 overs giving unbeaten Bashley a 129 win run.
